Hiya! Today I got snowed in with Banana Republic. Simple pieces for everyday wear, while still being sophisticated enough that I can transition them into that more "wear-to-work" style if I need to do so. My attire is typically more laid back. I'm lucky enough to have a job that doesn't require me to dress up in skirts and heels every day. But at the same time, it's really nice to sometimes polish up a bit when I know I won't be building windows or doing any crazy floor moves. The first look is a feminine sheer blouse with a dainty geometric print. Paired back to ripped denim and an easy hat, it's a look that's virtually perfect for any activity you've got planned for the day. The second look is a plaid skirt with a flounce. The peplum is asymmetrical, making the skirt far more interesting. While it's a little more dressy than I usually would opt for, I like the idea of pairing it back to a leather jacket and channeling that British street-wear vibe. Pop on some chucks and it's an easy outfit for errands or lunch with the gals. This look was perfect for yesterday before the snow storm came barreling through New England. A beautiful 50 degree day and a stroll through Boston's South End would be a perfect occasion for this ensemble. Stay tuned to see more of these pieces incorporated into my wardrobe in days to come. Thank you Banana Republic for sponsoring this post! XO
