Here's a quick look at my recent Mother's Day attire. Something simple and feminine. I really liked the juxtaposition of the girly lace top paired with more masculine denim joggers. These pants are great and are always easy to throw on with a simple top. The shape and fit are a little less traditional than any other denim bottom and are a nice change than my typical black denim.

 Fast lived was the idea of reintroducing chokers back into our wardrobes. Chokers are out, and bandanas are taking over the fashion scene everywhere you look. I've worn a bandana in another recent post and I can't get enough. I've always had a strange fascination with them. Particularly in middle school when I wore them in my hair as headbands. This indigo dyed bandana was $5 from American Eagle and was such a steal. With the whole indigo trend that's in right now, I get to rock a bandana while keeping it a little more boho and a little less sporty - which is perfect for me.

Hey everyone! Sorry for being super MIA lately. I've been working a lot and in my spare time, been preparing for my first pop-in shop at Calico in Providence RI. It's this Saturday! So super quick, here's just a simple grab & go outfit from a couple weeks ago. As always, comfort is huge for my work so simple ankle boots and a blouse are a great go to. The boots and zippered skinnies keep the peasant blouse from looking too dressy. I hate feeling dressed up. I'd rather a tshirt and jeans any day.  Whoa whoa. A rarely fleeting moment of me wearing a color that isn't tonal or monochromatic. I've become slightly obsessed with tiny pins and am looking forward to slowly collecting them. And this jacket will be where I keep them. I'd love to hear where everyone else gets their pins! XO

 Yesterday was Star Wars Day so basically the only option was a Star Wars tee. Right, right? Although I was called out for not wearing my hair in two Leia buns. A girl can only do so much! This is a pretty standard outfit for me, given the fact I have to be ready to move around all day with my job that I have. That being said, that would explain why all you see if brick walls and black denim.
